At Bear Soul Wellness, we use Massage Therapy to promote healing and wholeness for all humans. We use the power of breath, sound, movement, and touch to help you connect to your body, emotions, and spirit. We believe creating a better world starts with individual and collective somatic healing of physical pain and trauma. We utilize our gifts and energies to promote right balance in our hearts, in our lives, and in our world. We believe in creating a safer space for all people, and especially for Black people, Indigenous people, and People of Color and Culture.

The stated times for sessions at Bear Soul Wellness are “hands-on” time. This does not include time for intake, undressing and dressing, and the aftercare conversation. It is suggested that clients plan for a window of their stated session time PLUS 45 minutes, and communicate any time boundaries before the session begins.

At no additional cost, your therapist may add up to 15 minutes of hands-on time to your session, at their discretion.

Tipping is not expected, but will be graciously accepted, and is used to support the Sliding Scale model, and provide low and no cost massage therapy to clients that have financial barriers.

Cancellation Policy
If canceling 12-24 hours before scheduled start time, a cancelation fee equal to half of the appointment amount will be requested. If cancelling less than 12 hours before start time, the full appointment amount will be requested. Clients will not be able to rebook until cancellation fee is paid.

Owner, Bear Soul Wellness
After 21 years in broadcast television, I left corporate America to pursue a career as a massage therapist. I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College as a Certified Massage Therapist in 2017. My journey has led me to recognize and accept my true purpose- to bring my full presence and attention to each person I interact with, to open my heart to them fully, and to relate with them powerfully for their own benefit.
My practice integrates Massage Therapy, Sexological Bodywork, energy work, Shamanism, Neo-Tantric and somatic embodiment practices to help clients tap into the sensations, emotions, and energy that are alive within their own bodies.
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Sexological Bodyworker, and Certified Reiki Master. I am also certified in Prenatal, Sports, Foot Reflexology, Geriatric massage, and Massage Cupping. I've studied with the Pacific Center of Somatic Sexology, the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education, the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and the International School of Temple Arts. I have also studied the teachings of Mantak Chia, the Source School of Tantra Yoga, and AkhuRa Tantra.
